Maternity photography is so much fun for me! I love seeing the connection between the parents and the baby before they even meet. This one was especially fun because I happen to know Kelly and Robert pretty well, they are my cousins. It makes me so happy to play a part in capturing their memories and feelings during this precious moment in their lives.
I hope you enjoy looking through these beautiful images of the parents to be.
I am way behind on my blogging, it is a blessing that I have been so busy I haven’t had time to blog, but I want to share all of these beautiful fall sessions with you all! So I am going to get a few of these blogged over the next week! This session was so much fun, I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful spot to shoot this family!
As all of my dog loving friends know, dogs are so special and such a blessing you life. Dogs are so selfless and love you NO MATTER what. My dog even thinks I am a good singer – which if you know me, you know very well is not even close to true. But she humors me =) This photo session was taken for a friend of mine, Kheli, who is a person who loves dogs very much! She is actually a dog trainer – who was instrumental in helping Steve and I introduce and have a good relationship between our dogs when we got married. Look her up: Texas Paws Dog Training. Unfortunately they found out her sweet dog, Sam, had cancer and Kheli wanted to have some nice photos made of him. I wish I had gotten this blog up a little bit sooner, and sadly Sam passed away, but I still wanted to post this in honor of his life and how much joy he brought Kheli and her family.
I had so much fun getting to spend the morning with Rachel and her Dad, this was a surprise for Mother’s day so they had to sneak out of the house for these. I loved being a part of their surprise! Rachel is such a fun girl with a great personality, can you tell from her photos??
What started off as a frightful Saturday morning turned out to be beautiful a day. The location turned out to be perfect for Scott and his son, it allowed both of their personalities to shine! The snow just provided that perfect last touch to the shoot, it was really an awesome morning.
Oh my goodness, Maddy has a lot of energy!! It makes me wish you could bottle that energy and share it. I am very thankful to have the ability to do a job where I have so much fun trying to keep up with a 7 year old. She is such a cute girl and I can tell will grow up to be a beauty…her Dad is going to love that I am sure!
Elijah is such a cute little guy!! He listed to everything I asked him to do and was full of smiles! I was majorly impressed with how good he did! Besides the fact that I am great friends with his MaMa, who came along for the shoot. Sandy, Jana, Elijah and I had a lot of fun!!
